    Strategy

    Long Entry Rules

Enter a buy order if the following indicator or chart pattern takes center stage:

    1. If the magenta line of the 50 EMA indicator crosses the red line of the MUV custom indicator bottom up (refer to Fig. 1.0), with price trading somewhat above, the market sentiment is said to be bullish, hence a signal to go long on the pair of interest.
    2. If the blue line of the DPO custom indicator breaks and stays above the 0.00 signal level, price is said to be pressured to the upside, hence a signal to go long on the currency pair of focus.

Stop Loss for Buy Entry: Place stop loss 1 pip below support.

Exit Strategy/Take Profit for Buy Entry

Exit or take profit if the following rules or conditions take precedence:

    1. If the magenta line of the 50 EMA indicator crosses the red line of the MUV custom indicator top downward during a bullish trend, it is a trigger to exit or take profit at once.
    2. If the blue line of the DPO custom indicator breaks below the 0.00 signal level during a buy signal, an exit or take profit is highly recommended.

    Sell Entry Rules

Initiate a sell entry if the following holds sway:

    1. If the magenta line of the 50 EMA indicator crosses the red line of the MUV custom indicator top downward as shown on Fig. 1.1, with price trading somewhat below, the sentiment in the market is said to be bearish, hence a signal to sell the currency pair of focus.
    2. If the blue line of the DPO custom indicator breaks and stays below the 0.00 signal level, price is said to be pressured to the downside, hence a signal to sell the asset of interest.

Stop Loss for Sell Entry: Place stop loss 1 pip above resistance.

Exit Strategy/Take Profit for Sell Entry

Exit or take profit if the following indicator or chart pattern gets displayed:

    1. If the magenta line of the 50 EMA indicator crosses the red line of the MUV custom indicator bottom up during a bearish trend, it is a trigger to exit or take profit at once.
    2. If the blue line of the DPO custom indicator breaks above the 0.00 signal level during a sell signal, an exit or take profit is highly recommended.

    About The Trading Indicators

The Detrended Price Oscillator has the sole function of removing trend from price and making it easier to pinpoint cycles (highs/lows), as well as estimate the length of such cycles.

The MUV custom indicator is a Tom Demark (TD) Moving Average indicator for MetaTrader4.

It defines the logical locations for introducing stop loss orders or closing a trade, which clearly defines how the creator Tom Demark explains the TD Moving Average indicator.

The 50 SMA is a Simple Moving Average set at period 50.
