Strategy
Long Entry Rules
Enter a buy if the following conditions or rules hold sway:
- If the blue line of the Cronex_T_DeMarker_GFC.ex4 custom indicator crosses its dark orange line bottom up, while a small blue upward pointing arrow forms, a buy signal is said to be in the making. Also take note of the dark green histogram that forms above the 0.00 signal level. Put all of these together, and we have a strong buy signal.
- If price closes above the dark blue line of the FRAMA custom indicator, then we can speculate that price is gaining an upward momentum i.e. a buy signal.
Stop Loss for Buy Entry: Place stop loss 3 pips below immediate support.
Exit Strategy/Take Profit for Buy Entry
Exit or take profit on position(s) if the following indicator or chart patterns are in display:
- If the blue line of the Cronex_T_DeMarker_GFC.ex4 custom indicator crosses its dark orange line top downwards, while a small red downward pointing arrow forms, an exit or take profit is advised. The histogram on the Cronex_T_DeMarker_GFC.ex4 indicator turns red and gets formed below the 0.00 signal level to further support our exit or take profit trigger.
- If price closes below the dark blue line of the FRAMA custom indicator, it is a trigger to exit or take profit accordingly.
Sell Entry Rules
Enter a sell order if the following conditions or rules hold true:
- If the blue line of the Cronex_T_DeMarker_GFC.ex4 custom indicator crosses its dark orange line top downward, while a small red downward pointing arrow forms, it I a signal to go short i.e. a sell alert. Do take note of the red histogram that forms below the 0.00 signal level. Put all these patterns together, and we have a strong sell signal.
- If price closes below the dark blue line of the FRAMA custom indicator, it is a signal to go short i.e. a sell signal.
Stop Loss for Sell Entry: Place stop loss 3 pips above immediate resistance.
Exit Strategy/Take Profit for Sell Entry
Exit or take profit on position(s) if the following are true:
- If the blue line of the Cronex_T_DeMarker_GFC.ex4 custom indicator crosses its dark orange line bottom up, while a small blue upward pointing arrow forms, an exit or take profit is advised. We could possibly see dark green histogram forming above the 0.00 signal level.
- If price closes above the dark blue line of the FRAMA custom indicator, it is a trigger to exit or take profit accordingly.

About The Trading Indicators
The Fractal Adaptive Moving Average abbreviated as FRAMA, is an indicator for MetaTrader4 that was designed by John F Ehlers.
The FRAMA is a type of Adaptive Moving Average that deploys fractal geometry to dynamically fine-tune its smoothing period to fit the altering price action over a given time.
The Cronex_T_DeMarker_GFC.ex4 custom indicator however, is a modification of the popular DeMarker indicator with additional color indication based on the histogram.
